As a food pantry under the umbrella of Churches United of the Quad Cities, the St. James Lutheran Church Food Pantry is a family of volunteers who help collect and distribute food to individuals and families in the Bettendorf, Iowa community who are in need of food assistance. We treat all visitors with respect when providing a 3-5 day emergency supply of food and basic hygiene items.

We are guided by Matthew 25:35 "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me."

We are able to be the helping hand to all community members in need - making the hunger gap that a little less prevalent
